Perhaps someone upstairs knew that losing an all-in as a 2.1.-1 favorite just didn't seem important in light of recent events - I squeezed 2 tourneys in last night and almost all hands went according to the numbers. I won when ahead (twice with dominating aces), and lost when I was behind (AJ vs. 88). Took first in one tourney and bombed out of the other.
I did knock someone out on an evil 2 out suckout along the way, but I was a big stack and even losing that one wouldn't have done too much damage to my chances afterwards.
Tonight is Fred's wake.
