EGADS, it's about time.

Took first place tonight. Continued to play well. I won a race when I needed to (99 vs. AQ), and even sucked out while headsup. Only a $10 tourney, so it didn't do much for the bankroll, but it did a ton for my brain.

I even get to show an interesting hand that I won based on a read.

Full Tilt Poker, $10 + $1 NL Hold'em Sit n' Go, 150/300 Blinds, 3 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (BTN): 4,300
SB: 5,625
BB: 3,575

Pre-Flop: (450) A 9 dealt to Hero (BTN)
Hero raises to 700, SB folds, BB calls 400
BB is aggressive but not very sophisticated. His default move is to bet, bet, bet.

Flop: (1,550) 2 5 Q (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks
Not sure why he checked here, unless he has what he considers a monster...

Turn:
(1,550) 2 (2 Players)
BB bets 900, Hero raises to 3,600 and is All-In
This bet is too small for value. Nope - it's a bet to take the pot, and his stack is too small, so at the last minute he ticked down his 3/4 pot bet to save chips. I have nothing, but I'm pretty sure BB isn't ready to die on this hill.

BB folds

Results: 3,350 Pot
Hero mucked A 9 and WON 3,350 (+1,750 NET)
