The suckout that causes you to leave the table.

I've played against so many Ace-rag soooted tonight that I've almost thrown up. Of course, when they call with A5 and hit their ace, I've had TT all night, as opposed to AK. So I've been donating to this point. Down about a buy in.

An online poker session often ends with some disgusting suckout. Happens all the time. But when you're on the winning end of it? That's a little more rare.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em $0.05/$0.10 - 9 players

CO: $17.47
Button: $5.47
SB: $17.17
BB: $51.25
UTG: $9.16
UTG+1: $3.85
MP: $15.27 44/17 after 19 hands.
MP2: $10.53 20/0 after 15 hands.
HJ: $10.00 (Hero)

Preflop: ($0.15) Hero is HJ with (9 players)
2 folds, MP raises to $0.30, MP2 calls $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, 4 folds

Flop: ($1.05) (3 players)
Well, flopping 2 pair aught to be enough to go to the wall. I've caught Ace-king, and all the ace-rags don't stand much of a chance.

MP bets $0.80, MP2 raises to $1.60, Hero raises to $9.70, and is all in, MP folds, MP2 calls $8.10
Not sure if this shove is the most EV play. Do I flat and let the original raiser in with spades or a gutshot? Are those hands too rare to worry about? Or maybe I flat and let him go nuts with AK? Well, maximum EV or not, I've got the best hand most of the time, getting money into the pot certainly isn't a bad thing.

MP2 shows
Hero shows

Now that's a sick cooler. I feel the disgust boiling up...

Turn: ($21.25) (2 players)
..and it doesn't really dissipate, even when I hit my 2 outer.

River: ($21.25) (2 players)

MP2 showed , and lost with a full house, Queens full of Aces
Hero showed , and won ($19.84) with a full house, Aces full of Queens
Hero won $19.84
(Rake: $1.41)

Poker might be the only game where the
loser and the winner of a big hand can walk away from the table disgusted by what just happened.
