My old friend Mr. Pietzak lead out for $1.50, and a quiet old timer right behind him raised it up to $3.50. His first postflop raise of the night - his first play at a pot. I did give it a few second's thought, then folded and felt fine with the prospect of doing so.

I told him I gave him great respect and had just folded 78. With all sincerity, he told me I was dead.
