Played up at NL25 tonight, results were.... a success! As I remembered, there are still plenty of fish swimming in those deeper waters...
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em $0.10/$0.25 - 9 players
MP2: $11.04
HJ: $11.75
CO: $19.40
Button: $9.65
SB: $24.75 Just sat down. No read except that he isn't on auto-rebuy.
BB: $28.43
UTG: $7.66
UTG+1: $31.70 (Hero)
MP: $25.00
Preflop: ($0.35) Hero is UTG+1 with (9 players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 4 folds, SB raises to $3, BB folds,
I don't fold kings preflop to unknowns, or most knowns for that matter. One more clue as to his play - this 3bet is on the big side. Would you 3bet large with aces, or with a hand you feel you need to protect?
Well, if he's got a weak hand and he's betting bigger to protect it, then he probably would read a big bet by me as weak as well, right?
Hero raises to $31.70, and is all in, SB calls $21.75, and is all in
Flop: ($49.75) (3 players)
Turn: ($49.75) (3 players)
River: ($49.75) (3 players)
SB showed , and lost with a pair of Sixes
Hero showed , and won ($47.27) with a pair of Kings
Hero won $47.27
(Rake: $2.48)
All in preflop with pocket sixes for a full stack? Uh, ok, knock yourself out. Not getting sucked out on is a nice bonus as well.
Was still pretty tired from the live game last night (no interesting hands to report, up 13 BB in an up and down affair), so I shut down my 25NL shot after this stacking, only 117 hands in.
