Live Poker Results, 2012

I kept accurate records of all my live poker play in 2012.

The grand total is $2328 won. Not a bad little supplement to the income. I don't keep my poker bankroll separate from my other cash (I'm not a pro), so as long as I have $500 available somewhere for a game, then I'm happy. The rest goes to paying the pizza guy and a $20 for the kids as they head out for a movie.

About half of those winnings came at the Cleveland Horseshoe. I won $1108 total in 97.5 hours, for an $11.36 hour rate at $1/$2. Not terrible, but could be better. I am going to work very hard on adjustments in my live game in 2013.

I'm not a big tourney player. I play in the monthly neighborhood tourney, where I took a second place and a third place finish this year. I also played in a couple of basement tourneys, and cashed in both of those. Total tourney earnings for the year was $65. These are almost all super-fast structures, so any positive earn is a good one. Flip around one race or getting kings cracked and that shifts further over into positive territory.

The rest of the earnings come from cash games, mostly the game I host, along with a few other games I attended throughout the year.

Very pleased that I'm a overall profitable poker player, but I still aim for improvement. My goal is to crush the game.
