The Sit N Go

The problem with the Sit N Go is that you get to see the ridiculousness of the poker odds defying people dozens of times in an hour.

Most cash game hands don't go to showdown. In a nine man SNG, there are so many all-ins that you get to watch the cards run out over and over again. You see KJ beat AK. You see a guy get dealt AK twice in 5 hands (while three handed). You have an inferior ace both times (and somehow chop one).

It's like a rapid course bad-beat lesson, both for you and against.

I played a single Sit N Go tonight - made the money to third place, then ran out of cards and luck. Whatev.
